Wedding & Reception at the Embassy Suites Hotel / 17th Street

Tayler and Mike Morales celebrated their wedding at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 3/13/2021.  Approximately 95 guests arrived to the hotel that Saturday late afternoon and they were directed to the indoor ceremony then they all enjoyed drinks and appetizers at the cocktail hour.  I played a mix of Rat Pack favorites at the cocktail hour and also decorated the ballroom with 20 amber, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 18 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Tayler chose Can't Stop The Feeling by J. Timberlake for the bridal party intros and Shut Up and Dance by Walk The Moon for her and Mike's intro.  The first dance was to Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran then Tayler danced with her dad to My Little Girl by Tim McGraw.  All of the guests found their seats and prepared for a 3 course dinner.  The prayer before the meal was given by Paula (the officiant) then Robert (best man) and Tayler's two sisters Renee and Shannon (matron and maid of honor) gave the toasts.  Tayler did provide me with a great play list that included top 40, classic rock, country and 80s and 90s dance hits.  After dinner the dance floor filled up very quickly and they dance all night long.  The energy on the dance floor was amazing!!  As the evening progressed we did have a cake cutting ceremony and the garter/ bouquet toss along with a few couples dances.  Everyone gathered on the dance floor for the closing song which was Friends In Low Places by Garth Brooks and that put a bow on an excellent Saturday night wedding.
