Wedding & Reception at the Embassy Suites Hotel / PGA

Good day Bloggers!
DJ Gregg here with this weeks of the Wedding Blog. Today's episode brings us to the Embassy Suites PGA. This venue is awesome and features a huge atrium.

As the guests arrived, they were invited to the patio for the ceremony.

I was instructed to play music from the Vitamin String Quartet for the prelude. Then the ceremony started. I played Canon in D Minor for the bridal party to enter and then Katherine entered to the traditional "Here Comes The Bride".

The ceremony was short and sealed with a kiss!

After the ceremony, I invited everyone to the 2nd floor veranda for cocktails and finger foods.

I was asked to play some light rock, jazz and even some standards. it really set a smooth tone.

After that we asked all of the guests to make their way to the main ballroom.

I lined up the bridal party for the grand entrance out in the hallway and then introduced all of the couples. They entered with "Walk It Out" by UNK. . Then Katherine and Clayton made their entrance. The song I played was "You Make My Dreams Come True" by Hall and Oates.

The first dance happen after that. I played "Die A Happy Man" by Thomas Rhett.

I asked the bridal party to be seated and then I invited the Bride to dance with her father. "My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw was chosen.

After that it was Clayton's turn to dance with his mom. "Simple Man" by Lynyrd Skynyrd was used.

I then invited everyone to find their seats as the dinner service was about to start.

During the meal, I kept it pretty light. I played easy vocal, light Rock and some Standards as requested by Clayton and Katherine.

Shortly after the main course, I asked the Maid Of Honor and Best Man to come up and say a few words. Then Katherine's father put the finishing touches on a wonderful time of reflection and well wishes. This led me to the playing of Katherine's parents Wedding Song "You Make Me Feel Brand New" by the Stylistics.

After that, the party started to crank up! I played a lot of classic party songs, as well as some new tunes. Hip Hop was really popular, as was DNCE "Cake by The Ocean". It went over great!

After a little while, I did the garter and bouquet toss as well as the cake cutting. They chose "How Sweet it Is" by James Taylor for that.

We kept the party going

A great time was had by all. DJ/MC Gregg Pellito
