Wedding Reception at The Faro Blanco Hilton Hotel / Marathon Key

John and Talia Kotter celebrated their wedding at the Faro Blanco Hilton on Marathon Key, FL on 11/16/2025. The ceremony which was witnessed by 50 close friends and family members took place over-looking the Bay then all of the guests were invited to the venue for the cocktail hour and reception. I played a mix of easy listening tunes while everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 19 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Talia chose 24K by Bruno Mars for the parents intros, We Found A Love by Rihanna for the bridal party intros and The Theme from Welcome Back Kotter for her and John's intro. The first dance was to an MP3 special mix that was provided by the happy couple, then Talia danced with her dad to Ballerina Girl by Lionel Richie then John danced with his mom to Time After Time by Cindy Lauper. All of the guests found their seats then Marta Nunez (bride's god-mother) gave the blessing of the meals. During the buffet style dinner, the toast were given by Crystal (MOH), Jeff (BM) Karen (MOG) and Mireya (MOB). Talia did provide me with a play list that included top 40, heavy latin favorites, 80s and 90s dance hits and freestyle hits. Perfect mix of genres for this very fun group of guests. They filled the dance floor as the evening progressed and also took a bit of a break for the cake cutting ceremony. Great night had by all and as the evening came to a close I played I've Had The Time Of My Life and Don't Stop Believing as the last songs.
