Wedding Reception at the Fort Lauderdale Country Club

Fanny and Anthony Laurella celebrated their dream wedding at the Ft. Lauderdale C.C. in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 3/19/2016.  This amazing wedding began with an indoor ceremony where approximately 75 close friends and family members witnessed the happy couple exchange vows.  All of the guests were then invited to the cocktail hour to enjoy drinks, appetizers and a mix of Rat Pack favorites.  Myself and Jerry took this time to decorate the ballroom.  The newlywed's package with Eddie B & Company included 24 amber colored, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights, a monogram (with their initials), a 15' x 15' white dance floor, a 55" LED flat screen for a photo montage and our signature "Strike A Pose" photo booth.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom and found their seats I lined up the 8 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Fanny chose Rock That Body by The Black Eyed Peas for the bridal party entrance and Marry You by Bruno Mars for her and Anthony's entrance.  The first dance was to That's Amore by Dean Martin then Fanny danced with her mom to Wind Beneath My Wings and Anthony danced with his mom to The First Lady In My Life by Paul Todd.  The toasts were given by Aracely (maid of honor) and Richie (groomsman) then Uncle Joe and Mr. Laurella gave the welcoming speeches.   The first of a three course meal was being served and the reception was under way.  Fanny did provide me with an excellent play list that included top 40, salsa, merengue, reggaeton, hip-hop and r&b.  This was another great dancing crowd that enjoyed all of the genres I played.  The dance floor was packed as soon as the dinner was over.  The highlight of the evenings was when Fanny and Anthony surprised all of their guests with an Hora Loca.  The happy couple hired an Hora Loca company for the last hour of the wedding.  They supplied me with a USB and they took over from there.  As the evening came to a close I played Last Dance by Donna Summer as the closing song.  Congrats to Fanny, Anthony and the entire Laurel and Navas families.  Special thanks to the staff and management at the Ft.
