On Saturday February 11th, 2012 I had the pleasure of playing for Ashley and Ryan Hill and 150 friends and family members at the Four Seasons Hotel in Palm Beach. I provided First Class Disc Jockey entertainment for the reception only. WOW! WOW! WOW! From the time I introduced the bridal party to when I said goodnight, the energy in this room was through the roof! Ashley and Ryan made their grand entrance to "You Make Me Feel" by the Cobra Starship and received a standing ovation from their guests. Their first dance was "You Had Me From Hello" by Kenny Chesney which was followed by a welcome from Laura Kohler (M.O.B.), then toasts by both fathers and a blessing by Father Tom. During the salad course the best man (Ryans' Brother), Michael Hill gave a humorous but fun toast followed by a few words from Ashleys' sisters Amy and Nancy. Ashley danced with her father to "The Way You Look Tonight" by Steve Tyrell and Ryan danced with his mother to "When You Wish Upon A Star" also by Steve Tyrell. The newlyweds cut their cake right after the main course to "All Of Me" by Michael Buble, and from there on for two and a half hours you couldn't see through the dance floor! I loved playing for this group of festive party goers!. Everything from Runaround Sue and Brown Eyed Girl to We Found Love and Party Rock Anthem kept the dance floor rolling. I covered five decades of music and all age groups came together on the dance floor to celebrate with Ashley and Ryan. We ended the evening with 2 songs selected by the newlyweds, "Crazy Love" by Michael Buble, then "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey for the finale. They still wanted more, but I had to say goodnight. Thanx to Lynn, Crystal, and their staff for a job well done and their hospitality and it was a pleasure working with photographer Ron Woods and his crew. This was a night to REMEMBER! Ashley and Ryan are honeymooning in St. Thomas and I want to wish them all the best, I enjoyed it as much as they did....DJ/MC Eddie B!
