Good Day bloggers!
DJ Gregg here with this week's installment of the Wedding Blog. today's episode brings us to the Frenchman's Reserve Country Club in West Palm. It is a very elegant location.
As the guests arrived for the ceremony, I was asked to play some instrumental music of contemporary songs.
The bridal party entered to "A river Flows in You". Then Sanaz walked down the aisle to "A Thousand Years" by the Piano Guys. The ceremony was officiated by a close friend who flew in from Sweden to be with the bride and groom.
The exit song was "All You Need Is Love" by the Beatles.
The cocktail hour began soon after that. I was asked to play Spanish Guitar music. It really set a nice tone.
Once cocktail hour was over, I invited the guests into the dining room. The lavender up lights provided by Eddie B & Company looked great! I then lined up the bridal party for the Grand Entrance. I played a traditional Persian song and then Sanaz and Jon danced their first dance. It was "Gravity" by Alex & Sierra. Then the rest of the guests came up to dance. "Fly me to the moon" by Sinatra was requested.
Soon after that I asked everyone to be seated for dinner service. During the meal, I played some standards and light vocal per the bride and groom's request.
After dinner I did the parent dances. and the toasts. Both went over very well.
We partied all night. I played a lot of contemporary music, top 40 as well as some awesome Persian songs. They were a fun crowd. I even did the Harlem Shake!!
Congrats to Sanaz and Jon
