Wedding Reception at the Ft. Lauderdale Country Club
The new Mr And Mrs Jackie and David Bayer had a beautiful Wedding Reception at Fort lauderdale Country Club on May 17th with over 150 guests in attendance.
As per design, there were few wedding formalities but we did introduce the Ushers and brought the Bride and Groom into the room to In The Mood by Glen Miller. The Bride and Groom then danced to Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers and all the guests joined in. Earlier, the guests enjoyed music from the 50s and 60s for cocktail hour. There were many complimentary comments from the guests about the music selection. During dinner I continued the theme of classics but added more instrumentals. Then, as though on cue, the guests almost simultaneously reacted to Jitterbug, Swing and Rock & Roll classics. The danced floor remained full the entire evening and I then winded down the night with the playing of Jesse Belvin's Goodnight My Love followed by a last minute request from the Groom to play Vaughn Monroe's Racing with The Moon.
I want to take a moment to complement Rebecca and her staff at Fort Lauderdale Country Club for their professionalism and extrodinary attention to detail. This unified effort was instrumental to making this an extrodinary evening for all!
