Wedding & Reception at the Funky Budda Brewery

I had the pleasure of DJing Scott and Megan's wedding at the Funky Buddha Brewery on Saturday, March 25, 2023. Scott and Megan's reception was held in a large room within the brewery with beer barrels stacked all around the room making for a unique, rustic look that makes for great pictures. My friend Caleb Lawson was taking the photos and he does a fantastic job. The bridal party entered to the Piano Guys version of the Jurrassic Park Theme, 65 Million Years in the Making. Next Megan entered, escorted by her father Gary to "Rewrite the Stars" by the Piano Guys. After Scott and Megan were pronounced husband and wife they posed for an epic dip and kiss and then exited to Heavy D - Now That We've Found Love. For the next hour the guests enjoyed cocktails along with games like beer pong and jenga. I played music from Katy Perry - Last Friday Night, Maroon 5 - Sugar, and Bruno Mars - That's What I Like. After cocktail hour all the guests were invited to the main dining room and I introduced Scott and Megan to Flo-Rida - My House. Then Scott and Megan had their first dance as husband and wife to Noah Reid - Simply the Best from the show Schitt's Creek. That was followed by Megan's dance with her father Gary to Forever Now by Michael Buble and Scott's dance with his mother Janice and grandmother to In My Life by the Beatles. After that Scott's mom Janice gave a wonderful speech to all the guests. Janice was absolutely wonderful and definitely the life of the party! Joe, one of the groomsmen also gave a toast. During dinner I played music from Rascal Flatts, Taylor Swift, and John Legend. After dinner the dancing started to Kool and the Gang - Ladies Night, Bruno Mars - 24k Magic, and Earth Wind and Fire - September. Scott and Megan cut the cake to Pour Some Sugar on Me by Def Leppard. Other music I played was Apache by Sugarhill Gang, This is How We Do It by Montell Jordan and Thrift Store by Macklemore. The guests came up to pose for a group picture to "Hey Ya" by Outkast. The night wrapped up to Rascal Flatts - Yours if You Want It. I was so happy to be part of Scott and Megan's special day and I wish them the very best!
