Xen and Mark Turner celebrated their wedding at the Gallery of Amazing Things in Dania Beach, FL on 8/11/2019. Approximately 300 guests arrived to the Galleria that Sunday late afternoon and were directed to the indoor ceremony. Once the happy couple sealed their love with a big kiss everyone was invited to the cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers. I played a mix of tropical tunes while everyone mingled and I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 28 amber, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights and our Cumulus cloud for the first dance all provided by Eddie B & Company. As the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 13 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Xen chose Bring 'Em Out by T.I. for the bridal party intros and for her and Mark's also. The first dance was to Bless The Broken Road by Rascal Flatts then Xen danced with her dad to Noi Ay Con Tim Ve by Ho Quang Hieu and Mark danced with his mom to I Hope You Dance by L. Womack. Once everyone found their seats, Xen and Mark surprised their guests with a traditional (Chinese/Vietnamese) Lion Dance by Master Li for all to enjoy. The first of a 6 course meal was served and the reception was under way. Xen did provide me with a play list that included top 40, 90s and 2000s house music, country and 80s and 90s hip-hop. Mark also requested Die A Happy Man (karaoke version) that he sang to Xen and Summer Wind by Frank Sinatra from him and his Grandma. The closing song for the evening was Save The Last Dance For Me by Michael Buble as everyone gathered on the dance floor with Xen and Mark for a big send-off. What an amazing wedding, two amazing families and a great time had by all!! Congrats to Xen, Mark and the entire Turner and Troung families.
