At the Gallery One in Ft Laderdale on Saturday Feb. 20th is where the reception was held for Matt and Haley Johnston. During cocktail hour Eddie B & Company provided a steel drummer that played outside on the back patio overlooking the intracoastal as guests enjoyed the weather and felt like they were in the Islands on vacation.
As guests proceeded into the main room, it was glowing with both Lavender and Cyan Blue LED up lights that were provided by Eddie B & Company. I then introduced the bridal party to I Gotta Feeling followed by Matt and Haley to Give Me Everything By Pitbull as they danced into the room and danced together like there was no one there. The first dance was to The Once, Best Friend as they danced alone and then I had invited everyone to join in.
Following the toasts and the prayer first course was served followed by the father /daughter dance and the mother son dance that were to My Wish, Rascal Flats and Louis Armstrong's What a Wonderful World. Then I got the party started as we danced from Top 40 to Disco to a variety of music so that all the guests were able to join Matt and Haley on the dance floor to party and celebrate.
Dinner was served and I was requested to play some Frank, Dean and more of the classic swings artists and classic oldies.
Following dinner we cut the cake to You Are My Best Friend by Ray Lamontage then the garter bouquet to Wanna Be by The Spice Girls and then Sexyback by Justin Timberlake.
Thee party rocked til the end of the evening where I played the final two songs which were I LIved and Time of my Life as the guests were invited to make there way downstairs for the sparkler send off of Haley and Matt. Congrats and Best of Luck, Marc Evans.
