Good Day Wedding Bloggers!
DJ Gregg is here again with this weeks installment of the Wedding Blog.
This week, we go to the beautiful Gallery One in Ft. Lauderdale.
This venue overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway and is an excellent location
As the guests arrived for the cocktail hour, I was instructed to play some Island music.
I kept it light with Jimmy Buffet and Bob Marley
The main room was lit up with beautiful Royal Blue LED up lights, provided by Eddie B & Company.
As the guests walked in, I played some funky music to keep a cool vibe going.
The bridal party and Bride and Groom all came in to "Good Feeling" by Flo Rida.
Next, I played the first dance " History in thr Making" by Darius Rucker.
I then invited the bridal party and the rest of the guests up for a special song. "God gave me you" by Blake Shelton.
I then sat everyone down for the blessing and dedication toasts. They were give by Stephanie and Stratton, the maid of honor and best man. Very touching...
I then kept it light during dinner. I played a lot of standards and some country too!
After dinner, I asked Laura to dance with her dad. "Cinderella" by Stephen Curtis Chapman was used. I then invited Cody up to dance with his mom. They picked " My Wish by the Rascal Flatts. About half way through the song, I was instructed to change it over to Happy by Pharrel! It went over great. This got the party started and we never looked back! I played a lot of top 40 and typical wedding favorites.
We then cut the cake to "Better Together" by Jack Johnson and for the garter and bouquet toss I played, "Where Dem Girls At" and" Bad Boys".
After that we got the party going again and danced the rest of the night away!
