Mary and Diego Yong celebrated their dream wedding at the Grand Oaks C.C. in Davie, FL on 9/19/2015. The ceremony took place at a nearby church and the cocktail hour music was provided by a pianist (friend of the family). We were only hired for the 4 hour reception and what a reception it was! While all of the guests mingled at the cocktail hour, I decorated the ballroom with 24 amber colored, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. By the time the guests entered the ballroom and found their seats, I had the bridal party lined up for the grand entrance. Each of the seven couples in the bridal party entered to a different song, then Mary and Diego entered to Forever Young by Alphaville. The first dance was to Giving It All To You by Haley and Micaels then Mary danced with her dad to What a Wonderful World by L. Armstrong and Diego danced with his mom to Amor De Madre by Victor Manuelle. The toasts were given by Trish (maid of honor) and Roberto (best man) then everyone prepared for a 3 course meal. Mary did provide me with a play list that included top 40, reggaeton, salsa, disco classics and 80's and 90's dance hits. What an amazing energetic croud this was! They danced all night and really seamed to enjoy the mix of music I provided. The cake cutting was performed as the night progressed (no garter/bouquet toss) and of course a few group dances. We also took a break to sing Happy Birthday to the maid of honor Trish!!!! The closing song for the evening was Don't Stop Believing by Journey as all of the remaining guests gathered on the dance floor to sing along with Mary and Diego. Congrats to Mary, Diego and the entire Crowley and Yong families. Special thanks to the management and staff at the Grand Oaks C.C. for always providing excellent service.
