Wedding Reception at the Grand Oaks Country Club

Hello all! DJ Cristian here blogging on a Saturday September 3rd wedding  reception at the beautiful Grand Oaks Country Club. This reception was for Juan and Cyrielle Ortega's wedding that took place in a church earlier that day. The room was beautifully decorated and the view of the golf course was exceptional. For their cocktail hour they hired a pianist and as soon as he was done it was my turn. So, I gathered the bridal party and then moved right along in to the introductions. First up were the bride and grooms parents they came out to "Jennifer Lopez" ,"Lets Get Loud". Next up the bridal party! They came out to "Pitbulls", "Time of Our Lives". Every one in the bridal party came out dancing with their hands in the air. It was great! Last but not least the Newly weds came out to "Bruno Mars", "Marry Me". It was excellent! Now with everyone sitting  Juan and Cyrielle Ortega made their way to the dance floor for their first dance. They danced to John Legend, All Of Me and it was very touching. I don't think there was anyone in the room that could not see the tremendous amount of love being shared by Juan and Cyrielle... After the first dance Cyrielle danced with her Father to Rod Stewart's, Have I Told You Lately and when they finished Juan and his Mother danced to James Taylor, You've Got A Friend and again it was heart felt by all. Now it was time for the Best Man and Maid of Honor to give their toasts. They seemed a bit nervous but delivered their toasts beautifully. After the food was done being served we went straight in to the cake cutting and the garter and bouquet tosses. The bride did not want to pause later to do them because in her words "my family likes to party"! She could not have been more right... Wow, her family can party! Cyrielle and Juan's families are both hispanic as am I so needless to say we all had an outstanding time! It was a night of Salsa, Merengue, Reggaeton, Bachata and some Old School Hip Hop at the end. You could barely see the dance floor the whole night because it was jam packed! It was a great party. Juan and Cyrielle have great families and friends and it was my honor and pleasure to DJ for their wedding reception! DJ/MC Cristian Diaz Piedra!
