Wedding Reception at the Grateful Palate

Mike and James celebrated their dream wedding at the Grateful Palate in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 2/18/2024.  Approximately 85 close friends and family members arrived to the venue that Sunday early afternoon to celebrate with Mike and James.  The weather was not cooperating so all of the activities, dances and dinner were held indoors.  The 1st cocktail hour, the ceremony and the 2nd cocktail hour featured drinks and appetizers and a mix of easy listening/lounge style music.  I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.   When it was time for the grand entrance, I lined up the 18 member bridal party.  The bridal party entered to We Are Family by Sister Sledge then Mike and James entered to Mary You by Bruno Mars.  The first dance was to All Of Me by Bruno Mars then everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal.  The toasts during dinner were given by several family members then Mike and James thanked everyone for attending their big day.  After dinner the dance floor filled up very quickly.  James did provide me with a play list that included top 40, classic and current club bangers and latin favorites.  Perfect mix of genres for this very fun group of guests.  The cake cutting was also held as the evening progressed but it was the dance floor where everyone spent most of the night.  The closing song for the evening was Last Dance by Donna Summer and that is how this amazing wedding came to a close.
