Ryan and Sarah O'Mara's reception at the Herb Skolnik center
As the guests arrived I had a video projector with a video of their trips and their wedding for all the guests to see. I invited the guests to enjoy appetizers and cocktails while they watched the video. As soon as the official wedding trailer ended the screen faded to black. Then I asked all the guests to please take their seats while the wedding video played. At the end of the video I announced as husband and wife for the first time Mr. and Mrs. O'Mara and they entered the room with a spotlight shining upon them. Then Ryan and Sarah greeted their guests at their tables while they continued with dinner. Sarah's mother made a toast honoring the newlyweds. I played a light mixture of non-dance music while the guests were eating. Then I shined the spotlight on Ryan and Sarah and invited all the guests to please join them at the cake table for the cake cutting ceremony the song that they chose for the ceremony was Sexual Healing by The Hot Brass Band. I continued to play an assortment of non-dance music while the guests enjoyed coffee, cake and dessert. Then I shined the spotlight on the door and the Mariachis entered to the guests surprise they played for half an hour an assortment of Ranchero and Tex Mex music. When they finished I asked Brian to escort his beautiful wife to the center of the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife. The song that they chose was Never Stop by Safety Suit then I mixed into I Got A Feeling by the Black Eyed Peas and asked all the guests to join them on the dance floor then I transitioned into Danza Kuduro by Don Omar featuring Lucenzo. Then it was party time I dimmed down the lights and turned on the dance lights I played some house music, Latin music, and some country for all to enjoy. I played Single Ladies by Beyoncé for the bouquet toss, followed by Girls Just Want To Have Fun by Cindy Lauper. I played Who Let The Dogs Out by the Baha Men as I shined the spotlight on the door for the interest entrance of Ryan and Sarah's dogs, then as the song continued to play Ryan got down on one knee and removed the garter. The dancing continued the rest of the night for the last two songs of the evening I played Shower by the Isley Brothers and All You Need Is Love by the Beatles. I thanked all the guess for coming I wish Ryan and Sarah years of happiness I had a great time thank you.....DJ/MC Jerry O
