Wedding Reception at the Heron Bay Golf Club

Shannon and Dan Nelson celebrated their wedding at the Heron Bay Golf Club in Heron Bay, FL on 9/10/2016.  This fun wedding began with an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour.  Approximately 100 guests arrived to the golf club and witnessed the happy couple tie the knot.  During the cocktail hour all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers while Shannon and Dan posed for pictures.  I took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 amber and pink colored LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom for the reception I lined up the 17 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Shannon chose Let's Get It Started by The Black Eyed Peas for the bridal party entrance and Hey Ya by Outkast for her and Dan's entrance.  The first dance was to Tupelo Honey by Van Morrison then Shannon danced with her dad to Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and Dan danced with his mom to Those Sweet Words by Norah Jones.  Tasha (maid of honor) and Mike (best man) gave the toasts then everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course dinner.  Shannon did provide me with a play list that included top 40, country, 90s dance hits and alternative.  Nice mix of genres for this fun group.  They filled the dance floor after dinner and only took a break for the cake cutting and bouquet toss (no garter toss).  The closing song for the evening was Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Steve Wonder and all of the remaining guests gave the happy couple a huge group hug on the dance floor.  Congrats to Shannon, Dan and the entire Nelson and Weyuker families.  Special thanks to the staff at Heron Bay for there great service.
