Laura and Rob Pujols celebrated their wedding at the Hillcrest C.C. in Hollywood, FL on 1/4/14 along with approximately 140 close friends and family members. The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the guests headed to the Hillcrest for the cocktail hour. As the guests arrived they were directed to the Oak Room for drinks and appetizers as I played a mix of Rat Pack oldies for them to enjoy. During the cocktail hour the bride, groom and the entire bridal party posed for pictures out on the golf course. At that time myself and my co-worker Steve decorated the ballroom with 22 cyon colored LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights and our signature "Strike A Pose" photo booth. After the cocktail hour all of the guests were invited into the grand ballroom for the reception and the grand entrance. Laura and Rob chose Forever by Chris Brown for the intros then as they all were lined up on the dance floor I switched the song to The Fox by Ylvis and that crowd went wild. The entire bridal party had masks of the different animals mentioned in the song...what a memorable moment. The first dance was to I Don't Know Much by Linda Ronstadt and Aaron Neville then Laura danced with her dad to I Loved Her First by Heartland and Rob danced with his mom to You Raise Me Up by Josh Groban. The toasts were given by Ashley (maid of honor), Jesus (best man) and Ashley's dad Mr. Paul Flemming. At this time the photo booth was officially open, the 1st course was set and the reception was under way. The guests were still buzzing about the bridal party intro...that was epic!! The main course was buffet style so as everyone enjoyed dinner I played a mix of jazz, oldies and easy listening. Laura and Rob did not provide me with a song list. They know my style and asked me to rock the house like I know I can do. After dinner I played a mix of top 40, classic rock, r&b, disco, salsa, merengue and a few group dances. The dance floor was literally packed for the entire evening. As the evening progressed the happy couple cut their wedding cake and had the garter/bouquet toss. The last song for the evening was Young Forever by Jay-Z and Mr. Hudson as all of the guests headed to the front of the building for a grand sparkler exit. Congrats to Laura, Rob and the entire Pujols, Flemming and Flores families. Another great wedding at the Hillcrest C.C.!! Special thanks to Gary and his amazing crew!!!
