On Sunday, May 31st, 2015 I was back at the Hillsboro Club playing for Tabitha and Samuel Grodin and 50 family members and friends. I actually played for Sam's brother's (Eddie) wedding 2 years ago at the Addison. Ceremony and cocktail hour music was provided by violinist Ed Horowitz. I started by introducing the bridal party to "Zombie Nation" and then Tabitha & Sam to "Mas Que Nada" by Sergio Mendes. Their first dance was to "All Of Me" by John Legend and also played live by Ed Horowitz. Tabitha danced with her father to "My Little Girl" and Sam danced with his mother to "I Hope You Dance". We also did the traditional Hora and lifted the newlyweds up in the chairs! I played a lot of Adult Contemporary music, mixed in with some Top 40 dance and Disco Classics. The cake was cut to "How Sweet It Is" and we ended the night with "When the Sun Goes Down" by Kenny Chesney. Now Tabitha & Sam are off to Hawaii for their honeymoon! Congrats and all the best! DJ/MC Eddie B!
