Wedding Reception at the Hilton Double Tree Grand / Miami

Claudia and Angel Jover celebrated their wedding at the Double Tree Hilton Grand Hotel in Miami, FL on 9/21/2024.  The ceremony took place at a nearby church, then all of the approximate 130 guests were invited to the venue for the cocktail hour and reception.  The guests were greeted with drinks and appetizers at the outside veranda overlooking Biscayne Bay.  I played a mix of tropical/smooth jazz tunes while they all mingled and I also took the time too decorate the ballroom with 20 LED, wireless uplights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  

As all of the guests made their way into the ballroom, I lined up the 16 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Claudia chose Pa'Ya Voy by Marc Anthony for the parents intros, Bring 'Em Out by T.I. for the bridal party intros and September by Earth Wind and Fire for her and Angel's intro.  The first dance was to I Get To Love You by Ruelle then Claudia danced with her dad to Vals Para Una Novia by A. Jean and Angel danced with his mom to Aqui Estoy Yo by Pimpinela.  The toasts were given by Camila (MOH), Pedro (BM) and by both sets of parents.  All of the guests found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal and the reception was in full swing.  Claudia did provide me with a play list that included top 40, heavy latin favorites, EDM and classic 80s and 90s R&B.  Perfect mix of genres for this extremely pumped up group of guests.  The dance floor filled up after dinner and it became a non-stop dance party until the end.  There was no garter/bouquet toss but the happy coupe did take the time to do a private cake cutting as the evening progressed.  The closing song for the evening was the same song we began the festivities with, one of my favorite jams September by Earth Wind and Fire!!!  PRICELESS!!!!
