Wedding Reception at the Hilton Hotel / 17th Street

Cassidy and Matt Levit celebrated their wedding at the 17th St. Hilton in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 10/12/2024.  Approximately 80 close friends and family members arrived to the Hilton and where directed to the in-door ceremony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.  After the happy couple tied the knot, everyone was invited to the cocktail hour in the lobby area.  I took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  When it was time for the grand entrance, all of the guests made their way into the ballroom  and found their seats.  Cassidy chose Bring 'Em Out by T.I. for the bridal party intros and Crazy In Love by Beyonce for her and Matt's intro.  The first dance was to You by Dan + Shay then Matt danced with his mom to My Wish by Rascal Flatts.  The toasts were given by Kelly (MOH) and Sal (GM) then everyone prepared for a 3 course meal.  Matt did provide me with a playlist that included top 40, classic rock, country and 90s dance hits.  The dance floor filled up after dinner and it became a dance party for the rest of the evening.  As the night progressed we did have a cake cutting ceremony (no garter/bouquet toss) and I did take requests for more EDM style music.  The closing song for the evening was Mr. Brightside by The Killers and that put a cap on an amazing Saturday night wedding.
