Taylor and Dakota Ligman celebrated their wedding at the Ft. Lauderdale Hilton in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 8/10/2019. Approximately 100 close friends and family members arrived to the Hilton that Saturday afternoon and were directed to the outdoor ceremony over-looking the Atlantic Ocean. After the ceremony all of the guests were invited to the cocktail hour where they enjoyed drinks, appetizers and the live steel drum sounds of our very own Brian Henry. I took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 amber, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. As the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 18 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Taylor chose Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO for the bridal party intros and Raise Your Glass by Pink for her and Dakota's intro. The first dance was to I Don't Dance by Lee Brice then Taylor danced with her dad to My Little Girl by Tim McGraw and Dakota danced with his mom to Simple Man by Shinedown. The toasts were given by Sam (maid of honor) and JP (best man) then Taylor's dad Mr. Cunningham gave the welcoming speech. Everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal. Taylor did not provide me with a play list but did ask me to play to the guests and to have fun. Needless to say this was a high energy group of guests that kept the dance floor pumping all night. I played a mix of top 40, country, oldies and 80s and 90s dance hits. As the evening progressed we did have a cake cutting ceremony and the garter/bouquet toss. We also enjoyed a few of the newer group dances and couples songs. The closing song for the evening was Don't Stop Believing by Journey as all of the guests gathered on the dance floor with the happy couple. Congrats to Taylor, Dakota and the entire Ligman and Cunningham families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Ft. Lauderdale Hilton for their excellent service.
