Emily and Adam's wedding was held at the beautiful Hilton Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on Saturday, November 23rd. The bridal party arrived early to take some pictures with the photographer by the water before the sun went down. The ceremony was held on the 5th floor balcony overlooking Fort Lauderdale beach. Guests began to arrive shortly after 4pm to watch the two exchange vows. The groom, accompanied by his parents, walked down the aisle to California by The Lagoons, followed by the bride who walked down the aisle to Hailey Reinhart’s Can’t Help Falling in Love. Once the two were pronounced husband and wife, the new Mr. and Mrs. Coverstone celebrated together while singing First Date by Blink 182. The cocktail hour was held poolside while Gail from Eddie B & Company provided the relaxing sounds of the steel drum. After the cocktail hour, the guests were invited to the grand ballroom to find their seats before I introduced the bridal party and the newlyweds. The newlyweds walked in to Levels by Avicii and immediately joined hands in the center of the dance floor as they embraced each other and enjoyed their first dance to You & Me by The Dreggs. Following the first dance of the newlyweds, I invited Emily’s father to join her for the father daughter dance to Forever Young by Rod Stewart, concluding in a huge applause from all their guests. I then invited Adam to lead his mother in their mother son dance to Home by Blue October. After that it was a party for the rest of the night and everyone was dancing to my selection of electronic music, 2000s Hip Hop, and other dance party favorites. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Coverstone. I had a great time partying with you guys - You rocked it! - DJ ELOW
