Good Day Bloggers!
DJ Gregg here with this week's installment of the Wedding Blog.
On Saturday, I had the pleasure of hosting the wedding of Liz and Richelle.
The ceremony was on the beach in Stuart, Fl. next to the historic House Of Refuge.
There was a beautiful tent set up behind the building that allowed all of the guests to enjoy the evening.
As the guests arrived from the beach, the steel drummer took over for cocktail hour. After that, I was asked to keep the mood very beachy and tropical. The newlyweds were still on the beach taking pictures, etc. When they are done, I lined up everyone for the grand entrance. They came into the venue with "Celebration" by Kool and the Gang playing. THen Liz and Richelle entered with " I Gotta Feeling" being played. The place erupted with applause!
I immediately went into their first dance "Lovin' you Easy" by Zac Brown Band. Then we proceeded to do the toasts and open the serving stations for dinner.
I kept the music light, playing Island music and Reggae. Ya Mon!
After dinner we got the dance floor packed... playing music from all styles and genres. They were big country fans, so I played some of that as well!
A great time was had by all....!
