Good Day bloggers!
On Saturday, May 5th, I had the pleasure of being the DJ for Sonja and Nordia on their wedding day. They were married at the beautiful Richardson Historic Park in Wilton Manors. As the guests gathered in the gardens for the ceremony, they were greeted by the festive sounds of Brian, our steel drummer. Soon after the guests were seated, I took over and played the wedding entrance music for the family and Nordia. I played "Marry You' by Bruno Mars for the exit of the couple.
Brian played the Island tunes for the cocktail hour on his steel drums. All of the guests enjoyed drinks and other refreshments, compliment of the newlyweds!
After the cocktail hour, I invited the guests to the gardens behind the carriage house. The grounds were illuminated with AMBER UPLIGHTS provided by Eddie B. & Company. It really looked great!
I introduced the people of honor to "Ready For This" by 2 Unlimited.
Then Sonja and Nordia entered to "Rock" by Plies. The guests were very excited to see the happy couple. They went into their first dance. It was " All The Way" by Ledisi. Soon after I invited Tiffany to say a few words to the newlyweds. Then I asked Jamesetta to say the blessing before dinner. Again, very positive and uplifting.
Now the dinner service starts. I played a lot of R&B music per the newlyweds requests.
In fact, I kept that style most of the evening. It was a really great party and they danced all night long!
Congrats to Sonja and Nordia...
