Wendy and Arthur Kirshenbaum made it official on 3/16/2013 at the Holiday Inn/Lattitudes in Highland Beach, FL when they tied the knot on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The ceremony took place on the beach in front of 75 close friends and family members. After the ceremony everyone was invited to the cocktail hour which was held indoors at the reception ballroom. Wendy and Arthur who are over 50 years young, provided me with a play list that included some of the best music ever made from the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's. The bridal party members were some of their long time best friends and they entered to Let's Get It Started by The Black Eyed Peas and so did Arthur and Wendy. They went right into the first dance which was Amazed by Lonestar and all of the couples joined them on the dance floor. Then to keep with Jewish tradition everyone danced to the Hora. The toasts were given by Wendy's son Eric and Arthur's son Seth. By this time the brunch buffet was open and I called up the guests per tables. Wendy asked me to take requests from her guests since they know each other for so long. They requested some great oldies that brought me back into time. There was no garter/bouquet toss but the happy couple did cut the beautiful wedding cake and all of the married couples danced to the anniversary dance. There were a few anniversaries that were being celebrated that afternoon along with a few birthdays. We sang the Happy Birthday son for Aurthur's son Seth then Wendy's son Eric dedicated The Strong One by Clint Black for him and his mom to dance to. It was a very special moment!! The last song request was Last Dance by Donna Summer as all of the remaining guests made a circle on the dance floor and gave Wendy and Arthur a group hug. Congrats to Wendy, Arthur and the entire Rosenwach and Kirshenbaum families. I had a wonderful time playing the oldies!!
