12/1/2018. Approximately 150 close friends and family members arrived at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Springs / Bonita Springs, Saturday late afternoon and were directed to the outdoor ceremony. The weather was perfect as the cocktail hour was held outdoors by the water fall. The music for the cocktail hour was provided by the smooth saxophone sounds of our very own Stuey Blue. I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 cyan LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. As the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 17 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Kristi chose Uptown Funk by B. Mars for the bridal party intros and I'm Your's by J. Mraz for her and Richie's intro. The first dance was to Por Una Cabeza by Carlos Gardel then Kristi danced with her new father-in-law Mr. Gibbs to How Does A Moment Last Forever by Celine Dion. Everyone found their seats then Krista (maid of honor) and Malley (best man) gave the toasts along with a prayer before the meal by Dr. Dan. The first of a 3 course meal was served and the reception was under way. Kristi did provide me a play list that included top 40, country, 80s and 90s hits, oldies and smooth jazz. Perfect mix of genres for this fun group of guests!! They filled the dance floor very quickly after the main course. Kristi and Richie did not have a garter toss but they did have a bouquet toss and the cake cutting ceremony. As the evening progressed I played some of the newer group dances and took a few requests from the guests. The closing song for the evening was And So This Is Christmas by Celine Dion and that put a bow on an amazing Saturday night wedding. Congrats to Kristi, Richie and the entire Gibbs and Ronyak families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Hyatt Regency for their attention to detail and their excellent service.
