On 7/2/2016 my beautiful cousin Gissel Rosario married the man of her dreams Eufrates Fernandez. The ceremony took place at a church in downtown Miami then all of the 130 guests were invited to the Intercontinental Hotel in Bayside, Miami for the cocktail hour and reception. As the guests mingled at the cocktail hour I played a mix of latin oldies. Myself and Jerry also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 amber colored, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights, a monogram (gobo) and 2 55" LED screens for a montage and zap shots all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom and found their seats for the grand entrance lined up the bridal party. Gissel chose Echa Pa Ya by Pitbull for the parents entrance, Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars for the bridal party entrance and Happy by Pharrell for her and Eufrates' entrance. The first dance was to Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran then Gissel danced with her father to Besos de Mariposa by Luis Santiago and Eufrates danced with his mom to Mama by Il Divo. Everyone found their seats then Lisette (matron of honor) and Hansel (groomsman) gave the toasts. The first of a 3 course meal was served and the reception was in full swing. Gissel did not have to provide me with a play list because I knew exactly what to play for both sides of the family. After the main course the dance floor filled up quickly. I played a mix of top 40, salsa, merengue, bachata, reggaeton and cuban classics. What an amazing wedding!!! At one point the workers at the hotel came out of the kitchen to see what all the noise was about. We performed some of the group dances, had a cake cutting ceremony and a garter/bouquet toss as the night progressed. As the evening came to a close I played my favorite last song which is New York, New York by Frank Sinatra that is when my dad to the mic over and we all sang a long. It was great to see my family from New York come down to celebrate as well as Eufrates' family who enjoyed the wedding as well. I want to thank Rosa, Peter, Porfirio, Antonia and Plinio for going all out for their kids!!!. I thanked Gissel and Eufrates at the end of the wedding and they said they would have not gotten married if I was not able to DJ their wedding...LOL!!
Congrats once again to Gissel, Eufrates and the entire Fernandez, Rosario and Varela families!!! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
