Wedding Reception at the Intercontinental Hotel

Carolina and Jake Gonzalez celebrated their dream wedding at the Intercontinental Hotel in Miami, FL on 6/19/2021.  The ceremony was held at an nearby church then all of the approximate 100 guests were invited to the hotel for the cocktail hour and reception.  I played a mix of Rat Pack tunes while all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  Myself and Lindsay decorated the ballroom with 20 amber, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights, a monogram with their names and date and our "Open Air" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 18 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Carolina chose Levitating by Dua Lipa for the bridal party intros and Came Here For Love by Sigala for her and Jake's intro.  The first dance was to Falling In Love With You by Elvis then Carolina danced with her dad to Unforgettable by Michael Buble and Jake danced with his mom to In My Life by The Beatles.  The toasts were given by Carolina's dad Mr. Cardona and by Greg (best man) then everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal.  Carolina did provide me with a play list that included top 40, 90s dance hits and latin favorites.  Perfect mix of genres for this very energy filled group of guests.  Lindsay was very busy running the photo booth while the dance floor filled up.  As the evening progressed the happy couple had a cake cutting ceremony and the garter/bouquet toss.  I also took requests for classic rock and some of the newer group dances.  The closing song for the evening was Beast of Burden by The Rolling Stones...PERFECT!!!
