Yohana and Erik Rodriguez celebrated their dream wedding at the Intercontinental Hotel in Miami, FL on 9/23/2017. The ceremony was held at a nearby church then all of the 130 guests were invited to the Intercontinental for the cocktail hour and reception. I played a mix of latin classics at the cocktail hour while all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 blue colored, LED, wireless uplights, dance floor lights, a monogram with their names and I prepared the nimbus cloud for their first dance. Yohana and Erik requested that they be introduced to their guests without the bridal party. When they were introduced they went right into their first dance which was You & I by John Legend. Yohana then danced with her dad to I Loved Her First by Heartland then Erik danced with his mom to Vivo Orgulloso by Victor Manuel then everyone found their seats for the toasts. Yohana's sister Yazmin and Erik's brother Paul gave two very nice toasts then both dads gave the welcoming speech and a prayer before the meal. Yohana and Erik did provide me with a play list that included top 40, reggaeton, salsa, merengue, hip-hop and r&b. This was one for the most pumped up group of guests that I have ever had the pleasure to play for all year!!! Wow did they enjoy that dance floor!! There was no garter/bouquet toss but the happy couple did cut there beautiful wedding cake as the night progressed. The closing song for the evening was No Hay Cama Pa Tanta Gente by El Gran Combo...perfect ending to a perfect wedding!!!
Special thanks to the staff at the Intercontinental Hotel for their 5 star service!!!
