Wedding Reception at the Islamorada Fish Company

Nicole and Kyle's love story unfolded against the scenic backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean at the Islamorada Fish Company down in the Florida Keys on November 17th. The sun began to set over the beach as the couple exchanged vows in a touching ceremony. The bride walked down the aisle to Ordinary by Alex Warren. The joyous atmosphere continued during the cocktail hour on the sand, where laughter and love filled the air as I played a mix of current pop hits. After the cocktail hour, we kicked things off with grand entrances of our newlyweds leading into their first dance as husband and wife to Reckless Hearts by Doc Raven. Nicole then joined her father for their father daughter dance to Daughters by John Mayer. I then invited Kyle to dance with his mother to for their mother and son dance to Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd which then mixed into Sail by Awolnation, which was Kyle’s mother’s favorite song. Kyle then shared a very touching dance with his daughter to Best Part of Me by William Dempsey. The families were then invited to sit for dinner as I played a mix of easy listening hits. The rest of the night was an open dance floor, inviting guests to make requests and we celebrated with the newlyweds to some party favorites from the 2000’s to today’s music. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Ahlquist!
