Wedding & Reception at the Jacaranda Country

On Saturday May 28th, 2016 I was at the Jacaranda Country Club playing for Kristi & Blake Holmes and 160 family members and friends. The evening started with a ceremony outside in the gazebo! The bridal party walked to "Hey Soul Sister" by the Vitamin String Quartet and Kristi walked to "Your Song" also by the Vitamin String Quartet! Once they were pronounced husband and wife they sealed the deal with a kiss and I flicked a switch that created a wall of bubbles! The recessional was to "You Make My Dreams Come True" by Hall & Oates. After the cocktail hour all the guests were seated in the main room and I introduced the bridal party to "Can't Stop the Feeling" by Justin Timberlake. Kristi & Blake made their entrance to "I Believe In A Thing Called Love" by Darkness. Their first dance was to a classic rock tune...."Thank you" by Led Zeppelin. Later Kristi danced with her father John to "Just Fishing" by Trace Adkins, and Blake dance with his mother Lori to "Blessed" by Elton John. I want to say this party ROCKED! I played everything from A to Z and the dance floor rolled for 3 hours! The final song was "Africa" by Toto because they are heading there for their honeymoon! Congrats and all the best DJ/MC Eddie B!
