Vanessa and John Tolley celebrated their wedding at the Jacaranda C.C. in Plantation, FL on 5/24/2015. The weather was perfect this Sunday late afternoon and as all of the approximate 110 guests arrived at the C.C. they were directed to the gazebo for the ceremony. Vanessa looked stunning as she walked down the isle with her dad to the instrumental version of I Won't Give Up by Jason Mraz. After the happy couple sealed their love with a kiss, all of the guests cheered loudly and were invited back to the C.C. for the cocktail hour. Myself and Frankie took this time to decorate the ballroom with a monogram on the dance floor and our signature "Strike A Pose" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom, I lined up the 23 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Vanessa chose Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars for the bridal party intros and Crazy In Love by Beyonce and Jay-Z for her and John's intro. The first dance was to Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran then Vanessa danced with her dad to I Loved Her First by Heartland and John danced with his mom to A Song For Mama by Boyz II Men. The toast were given by Maegan (maid of honor) and Vandon (best man) then Vanessa's dad Mr. Seblano gave the welcoming speech. Vanessa and John did not provide me with a play list because they saw me in action before. They did ask me to have fun with their guests and to take requests. That evening I played a mix of top 40, 80's and 90's dance hits/hip-hop, classic rock and country. The guests really enjoyed the mix of genres and dance for most of the night. The cake cutting was interesting since the groom's cake was a Star Wars Theme cake and then the garter/bouquet toss was performed after that. That gave everyone time to catch their breaths before hitting the dance floor again until the end. The last songs for the evening were Dirty Bit by The Black Eyed Peas and Save The Last Dance for Me by Michael Buble. Two great closing songs for a perfect wedding! Congrats to Vanessa, John and the entire Tolley, Seblano and DiBlasio families. Special thanks to the staff at the Jacaranda C.C. for always providing excellent service!!
