Wedding & Reception at the Jupiter Civic Center
On a cold Saturday evening on Valentines Day February 14 on the beach in Jupiter at the Civic Center is where Stephanie and Chris joined as one in front of family and friends. A guitarist played the processional as I played A Beautiful Day by U2 for the bride and groom once pronounced husband and wife.
During Cocktails on the balcony of the civic center Reggae and sone Buffet and more from the islands were the sounds of choice from Stephanie and Chris.
Once cocktails concluded, I lined up the bridal arty and introduced them into the Teal lit room from the uprights provided by Eddie B and set up by yours truly, Marc Evans, to I gotta Feeling by Black Eyed Peas and then I introduced Chris and Stephanie to Best Day of My lIfe by American Authors. Chris and Stephanie dance there first dance alone to Into The Mystic by Van Morrison as family and friends looked on and took photos. Followed by the Food stations, I played some Italian, Greek and American music as the families were very international along with some latin.
Once dinner was over I introduced the maid of honor and best man to do the toasts to In Da Club followed by the Father Daughter dance to My Wish by Rascal Flatts and then Chris danced with his mom to Blessed by Elton John. Prior to cutting the cake, Stephanie and Chris did a Thank you speech and then smashed the cake into one anthers face to the tunes of Lucky, by Colbie and Jason.
Then the party rocked until the last song by Journeys, Don't Stop Believen. But prior to that I payed two sheets of music requests to include line dances to The Cupid Shuffle, The Wobble, Cotton eye Joe and even the Cha Cha Slide. Salsa and Merengue were a hit along with some greek music for dad and some Tarantella for the Italians. Top 40 music and hip hop were the popular choice though they danced and partied to Shout and many other Motown selections.
Stephanie all though covered in red wine approached me to inform me that she could not have asked for a better evening and was very please with me DJ Marc Evans and how I ran the event and made it a very special evening for her and Chris.
Off to Italy and Greece for the Honeymoon, Congrats!!!
