Wedding Reception at the Jupiter Inlet Bay Colony Club

On Saturday January 17th, 2015 I was at the Jupiter Inlet Bay Colony Club playing for Alexandra & Andre Goncalves and 125 friends and family members. The cocktail reception lasted about one and a half hours for I played from a play list created by the newlyweds! I introduced the bridal party to a different song for each couple, and Alexandra & Andre made their grand entrance to "Fell In Love With A Girl" by White Stripes. Their first dance was "Better Together" by Jack Johnson. Alexandra danced with her father to "These Are the Days of Our Lives" by Queen, and Andre danced with his mother to "Blessed" by Elton John. The cake was cut to "So This Is Love" by Ilene Woods, and Andre removed & tossed the garter to "Ball and Chain" by Social Distortion. Alexandra tossed her bouquet to "Girls" by the Beastie Boys. This was a young hip group of party goers that knew their music. I played a mix of Top 40 dance & Hip Hop along with Alternative and some retro 80's. The dance jammed for 2 solid hours!  The final song was "All Night Long" by Lionel Richie. I wish all the best to Alexandra & Andre! DJ/MC Eddie B!
