Wedding Reception at the Key Largo Lighthouse

Tyka and Sawyer Skolout celebrated their wedding at the Key Largo Lighthouse in Key Largo, FL on 2/5/2025.  Approximately 50 close friends and family members arrived to the lighthouse and were directed to the beach-side ceremony over-looking the Gulf.  After a perfect ceremony all of the guests were invited to the tiki bar for cocktail hour.  I played a mix of tropical tunes while they all mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  When it was time for the grand entrance and formal dances, I had all of the guests make a big circle on the dance floor.  Tyka chose You Make My Dreams Come True by Hall & Oats then Tyka danced with her dad to This Dance by Scott Thomas and Sawyer danced with his mom to God Speed by Zach Bryan.  Everyone was then invited to the reception tent for dinner, toasts and the cake cutting.  During the buffet style dinner, Chelsie and Parker (MsOH) and Gabe (BM) gave the toasts and speeches then we watched as the happy couple cut their delicious wedding cake (and yes it was delicious).  The dance floor opened up after dinner and they danced all night long.  I played a mix of top 40, classic rock, oldies and Motown.  Perfect mix for this very fun group.  The closing song for the evening was Friends In Low Places by Garth Brooks and that put a bow on a fantastic Wednesday night keys wedding.
