Leslie and Reeve van der Sar celebrated their wedding at the Key Largo Lighthouse in Key Largo, FL on 11/22/2022. This fabulous wedding began with a beachside ceremony over-looking the Gulf of Mexico. That is also where approximately 100 close friends and family members cheered loudly as the happy couple tied the knot. The cocktail hour was held at the tiki bar and as everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers I played a mix of tropical tunes. The buffet/station style dinner opened early so everyone made their way over to the reception tent. That is also where Scott (BM) and Liceth (MH) gave the toasts and where Leslie and Reeve had a cake cutting ceremony. All of the guests were invited back to the tiki bar and dance floor for the grand entrance and traditional dances. Leslie chose Pepas by Farruko for the bridal party intro song and Marry You by Bruno Mars for her and Reeve's intro. The first dance was to a choreographed mp3 mix then Leslie danced with her dad to Tratala Bien by Napoleon and Reeve danced with his mom to There For You by Damian Marley. That was everyone queue to get the dance going. They genuinely looked like they had an amazing time. I played a mix of top 40, 90s hip-hop and traditional Mexican songs. Perfect mix for all to enjoy. The garter/bouquet toss was performed as the evening progressed but it was the dance floor where all of the action took place. The closing song for the evening was Payaso De Rodeo and that put a bow on a great Tuesday night keys wedding.
Congrats to Leslie, Reeve and the entire van der Sar and Gallardo families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Lighthouse for always providing excellent service.
