On March 7th, Emily and Daniel’s love story reached a beautiful new chapter against the scenic backdrop of the Key Largo Lighthouse in the Florida Keys. Though a brisk winter breeze kept the ocean choppy, the atmosphere remained warm and intimate as the couple exchanged vows on the Coral Beach side of the property. The ceremony was elevated by the classical sounds of Bridal Chorus by Richard Wagner as Emily walked down the aisle. Following the ceremony, there was a dove release as Mr. and Mrs. Asmus were hand in hand singing This Will Be (An Everlasting Love) by Natalie Cole. The celebration continued during cocktail under the tiki hut with a perfect blend of beach vibes and easy-listening hits.
The energy shifted from serene to celebratory as Daniel and Emily made their grand entrance to Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder before joining hands for a tender first dance to You Are the Reason by Calum Scott. Heartfelt family traditions followed, with Emily dancing to Van Morrison’s Brown Eyed Girl with her father, and Daniel joining his mother for a dance to First Lady in my Life by Paul Todd. After a series of emotional toasts from the father of the bride, the matron of honor, and the best men, the families settled in for a wonderful dinner by the shore.
For two hours, guests celebrated under the stars to a mix of oldies and contemporary hits. It was a spectacular day from start to finish. Congratulations, Daniel and Emily—it was an absolute pleasure to provide the soundtrack for your wedding!— DJ ELOW
