Wedding Reception at the Key Largo Lighthouse
Kate and Paul Donnell celebrated their wedding at the Key Largo Lighthouse in Key Largo, FL on 3/3/2026. Approximately 80 close friends and family members arrived to the Lighthouse and were directed to the beach-side ceremony over looking the Bay. After the ceremony all of the guests were invited to the tiki bar for the cocktail hour. I played a mix of tropical tunes while they all enjoyed drinks and appetizers, and watched Kate and Paul take sunset pictures. The happy couple then made a grand entrance to the song Just Like Heaven by The Cure and danced to Hey Leonardo by The Blessed Union of Souls as their first dance. Kate danced with her dad to Forever Young by Bob Dylan and Paul danced with his mom to Let It Be by The Beatles. Everyone found their seats at the reception tent and prepared for a buffet style dinner. During dinner, the toasts were given by Lisa (MOB) and Amanda and Sarah (Maids OH). Kate and Paul had a cake cutting ceremony then everyone came out to the tiki hut and the dance floor to begin the celebration. I played a mix of top 40, classic rock, EDM favorites and 2000s Hip-Hop for all to enjoy as the evening progressed. I also took a few requests for 80s hits and as the evening came to an end, I played The Last Song by All American Rejects as requested by Kate.
