Wedding & Reception at the Key Largo Lighthouse

On Saturday, March 18th I was at the Key Largo Lighthouse for the wedding reception of Dylan and Samantha. The ceremony took place around 5:00pm just a few feet from the ocean at the property’s Coral Beach outdoor venue. The groom along with his groomsmen and the bridal party walked to the altar to a special song created for them, followed by the bride who walked down the aisle to the a violin cover of Blink 182’s, I Miss You. Once the two were pronounced husband and wife, the new Mr. and Mrs. Blum celebrated together while singing Treasure by Bruno Mars. The reception area was held on the sand, complete with a swimming pool and a tiki bar. When it was time for introductions, I invited everyone to stand in a large circle under a beautiful pergola as we all welcomed the new Mr. and Mrs. Blum to Shut Up and Dance. Dylan and Samantha then embraced each other for their first dance to Promise to Love Her by Blane Howard followed by a very entertaining mother daughter dance to Mama’s Song by Carrie Underwood. Dylan then joined his mother on the dance floor for the mother and son dance to Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd followed by a dance with his stepmother to My Wish by Rascal Flatts. During dinner, I played a some motown and easy listening music while the guests enjoyed their meal and the rest of the night was a party with a mix of 90s hip hop, and dance music for all the guests to enjoy.
