Wedding Reception at the Key Largo Lighthouse
Mackenzie and Nathaniel Goob celebrated their wedding at the Key Largo Lighthouse in Key Largo, FL on 9/12/2026. Approximately 60 close friends and family members arrived to the lighthouse and were directed to the beach-side ceremony overlooking the Bay. The cocktail hour was held at the tiki bar and that is where all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers while the happy couple posed for pictures. When it was time for the grand entrance, I had all of the guests make a big circle on the dance floor. Kenzie and Nate chose How Sweet It Is by James Taylor as their intro song then they danced to Leather & Lace by Stevie Nicks and Don H. Kenzie then danced with her dad to My Wish by Rascal Flatts and Nate danced with his mom to Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd. The buffet style dinner was ready for all to enjoy so everyone made their way to the reception tent and found their seats. During dinner, the toasts were given by John (FOB), Maddy (MOH) and Nate (BM). The cake cutting ceremony took place immediately after dinner then the dance floor opened up for some dancing fun. I played a mix of top 40, classic rock, tropical tunes and 90s and 2000s dance hits. I did take a few requests for country music and line dance tunes as the evening progressed. The last song for the evening was Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond and that put a bow on an amazing Saturday night Keys wedding.
