I had a wonderful time DJing Austin and Nicole's wedding on April 29, 2023 at the Key Largo Lighthouse. It was a beautiful day with a nice breeze in the air. The bridal party walked down the path to the instrumental version of Bittersweet Symphony by The Aranbee Pop Symphony. The best part was when the "flower man" walked down the aisle and handed out White Claws to the guests! Nicole walked down the path to Storybook Love by the Piano Fortissimos from the Princess Bride. After they were pronounced husband and wife Austin and Nicole walked back up the path to You Make My Dreams Come True by Hall and Oates.
For cocktail hour Bo, from Eddie B & Company played the guitar and the guests loved it. After cocktail hour it was time for introductions! All the guests circled up and I introduced the parents of Austin and Nicole plus all of the bridesmaids and groomsmen to Thunderstruck by ACDC. Then I introduced Austin and Nicole to I Believe in a Thing Called Love by the Darkness. Austin and Nicole had their first dance to First Date by Taylor Acorn, Nicole Danced with her father to Forever Young by Rod Stewart and Austin danced with his mother to I Hope You Dance by Lee Ann Womack. John, the best man and Valerie the maid of honor gave toasts, as well as Austin and Nicole's dads. After Nicole's dad was done he said "Hammer time!" and I played Can't Touch This!
We danced through the night to songs like Blink 182 - All the Small Things, Guns N Roses - Sweet Child o Mine, Barenaked Ladies - One Week. I played a set of latin music from Celia Cruz, Pitbull, Romeo Santos and Don Omar. Then we head-banged to the Skrillex version of Cinema by Benny Benassi, Internet Friends by Knife Party, Sideways by Illenium and Feel Good by Gryffin. The night wrapped up with Queen - Don't Stop Me Now, Neil Diamond - Sweet Caroline and Semisonic - Closing Time. I truly had fun DJing Nicole and Austin's wedding and I wish them the best future together!
