Wedding & Reception at the Key Largo Lighthouse
On Saturday, May 6th I was at the Key Largo Lighthouse Beach for the wedding reception of Derek and Katrina. The ceremony took place around 4:30pm just a few feet from the ocean at the property’s Hidden Beach outdoor venue. The reception area was held on the sand, complete with a swimming pool and a tiki bar. When it was time for introductions, I invited everyone to stand in a large circle with their sparklers in-hand under a beautiful pergola as we welcomed the new Mr. and Mrs. Bednarski with cold sparks aimed at the sky for their grand entrance to Crazy in Love by Beyonce and Jay-Z. Derek and Katrina then embraced each other for their first dance to All of Me by John Legend followed by a lovely father daughter dance to You Raise Me Up by Westlife. Derek then escorted his mother to the dance floor for their mother son dance to Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd. During dinner, I played a some reggae and easy listening music while the guests enjoyed their meal and the rest of the night was a party with a mix of pop, hip hop, and dance music for all the guests to enjoy.
