Wedding Reception at the Key Largo Lighthouse
I had the pleasure of DJing the wedding of William and Rachel Bush on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the Key Largo Lighthouse. Friends and family were in from Texas to the beautiful Florida Keys! Rachel's cousin played the guitar and sang as the beautiful bride was escorted down the aisle. The ceremony was beautiful. I played Randy Travis - Forever and Ever Amen as the newlyweds walked back up the aisle together. They both looked so happy! During cocktail hour I played music from George Strait, Brad Paisley and Fleetwood Mac. Also Rachel's cousin jammed away on the guitar with songs from Hootie and the Blowfish, Tonic and Marcy Playground. He was fantastic!
After that all the guests circled up and I introduced the bridal party to Cowboy by Kid Rock. Then I introduced for the first time Mr. and Mrs. William Bush! The bride and groom had their first dance to You Save Me by Kenny Chesney. After that everyone gathered under the tent for dinner. Best Man Austin and Maid of Honor Waverly gave toasts. After a delicious dinner Rachel and Will got their pictures taken by the sunset. After that, Randy, the father of the bride danced with his daughter to Dads and Daughters by Marynn Taylor. Then Will danced with his mother to My Wish by Rascall Flatts. After that Will took off Rachel's garter which had a can of beer attached to it and he chugged to Ice Ice Baby! After that Rachel threw her bouquet to Redneck Woman by Gretchen Wilson. Next was a sparkler send off to Pitbull - Fireball before everyone jumped in the pool! It must have felt great because it was a hot South Florida day! For the rest of the night the guests enjoyed the music and bar and danced to ACDC - You Shook Me All Night Long, George Strait - The Cowboy Rides Away, Big and Rich - Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy, Garth Brooks - Friends in Low Places and David Allen Coe - You Don't Even Call Me by my Name. It was so wonderful to DJ Will and Rachel's wedding and I wish them the very best!
