Wedding & Reception at the Key Largo Lighthouse

Alexa and Spencer Dohrenwend celebrated their dream wedding at the Key Largo Lighthouse in Key Largo, FL on 6/27/2023.  This fun wedding began with a beach-side ceremony over-looking the Gulf.  Approximately 60 guests witnessed a beautiful ceremony then they were all invited to the tiki bar the cocktail hour.  Alexa and Spencer stayed at the ceremony location to pose for pictures with immediate family members.  The rest of the guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers as I played a mix of tropical tunes.  Alexa and Spencer chose to have Love Will Keep Us Together by Capt. and Tenille as their intro song then they went right into their first dance which was Pluto Projector by Rex Orange Country.  Alexa then danced with her dad to Falling In Love With You by Elvis Presley and Spencer danced with his mom to Humble and Kind by Tim McGraw.  All of the guests were then invited to the reception tent for a buffet style dinner.  During dinner, Alexa's dad Mr. Matlock gave the welcoming speech and the toast as everyone enjoyed their meals.  The cake cutting followed right after dinner then everyone followed Alexa and Spencer to the pier for the very popular "Sunset" photos.  The dance floor filled up very quickly as I played a mix of top 40, Motown, disco and 90s hip-hop.  Perfect mix of genres for this very up-beat group.  The garter/bouquet toss was performed as the evening progressed along with an anniversary dance.  The closing song for the evening was Young Hearts Run Free by Candi Staton and that put a bow on a fun, Tuesday night Keys wedding.
