Wedding & Reception at the Key Largo Lighthouse

Kyra and David McCarthy celebrated their wedding at the Key Largo Lighthouse in Key Largo, FL on 9/20/2023.  This amazing wedding began with a ceremony over-looking the Gulf where approximately 80 close friend and family members witnessed the happy couple tie the knot.  The cocktail hour followed immediately after the ceremony at the tiki bar.  They mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers while a solo guitarist provided the smooth jazz tunes.  After the cocktail hour all of the guests made a big circle as I introduced Kyra and David.  The first dance was to If I Ever Leave This World Alive by Flogging Molly then everyone was invited to the reception tent for dinner and toasts.  The toasts were given by Kim (MOH) and Louis (BM) before the buffet style dinner was read for all to enjoy.  Kyra did provide me with a play list that included top 40, classic r&b, latin favorites and EDM.  After dinner the dance floor opened up and the dance party began.  They had fun dancing the night away and only took a break for the cake cutting ceremony and the bouquet toss (no garter).  As the evening progressed I took a few requests for group dances and for fun dance music.  The closing song for the evening was Good Riddance as everyone jumped in the pool!!!  Perfect ending to a perfect Wednesday night Keys wedding.
