Wedding & Reception at the Key Largo Lighthouse

I had the honor of DJing Stephanie and John Paul's Wedding at Key Largo Lighthouse Coral Beach on Saturday November 4, 2023. The weather was perfect with a nice breeze. For the ceremony I played A Thousand Years by Christina Perri as the bridal party walked down the aisle. There was a unique member of the bridal party and that was the couple's adorable golden retriever Kahlua. He was very well behaved and had flowers around his neck. Stephanie walked down the aisle to the Lindsey Elm version of I Get To Love You. After the couple kissed and were pronounced husband and wife I played In Paradise - Moments We Live For. 

During cocktail hour I played tropical music from tropical music from Jimmy Buffett and Bob Lyons. I also played music from the Eagles, Taylor Swift and Steve Miller Band. After that I asked guests to circle around the dance floor and I introduced the bridal party to TI - Bring Em Out. Next I introduced Mr and Mrs. St Clair to All That We Need by Niko Moon. Next, Stephanie and John Paul had their first dance to This is It by Scotty McCreery as the guests stood in a circle holding sparklers. John Paul dipped Stephanie and gave her a kiss at the end! Next Stephanie danced with her father to Joy of My Life by Chris Stapleton. After that John Paul danced with his mother to God Gave Me You by Blake Shelton. Next I did a special dedication to Stephanie's parents, Tracey and David. The DJ did not have their song at their wedding 34 years ago so they did not have a first dance. This time they got to have their dance to If You Say My Eyes Are Beautiful by Jermaine Jackson and Whitney Houston. It was a special moment. I invited the other guests to join them on the dance floor half way through the song.

Next, dinner was served after a prayer. Next Maid of Honor Brittni, Stephanie's sister and Best Man Jake, John Paul's brother gave toasts. Followed by Father of the Bride David and Father of the Groom James. Next, Stephanie and John Paul cut the cake as I played Archies - Sugar Sugar. Then it was time to dance! I took it back to mid-2000's rock by request with Jimmy Eat World, Good Charlotte, Bowling for Soup, and Fall Out Boy. I played Cupid Shuffle, Cha Cha Slide, Conga, the Wobble and YMCA, I played music from David Guetta, Darude, Usher, Missy Elliott, Ciara, Nelly and Taylor Swift. I took a few requests and made sure the guests had the time of their lives. At the end I played The Killers - Mr Brightside and Stephanie and John Paul had one last dance to Next Thing You Know by Jordan Davis.
