I DJed Nicole and Anthony's wedding on November 18, 2023 at Key Largo Lighthouse in Key Largo. Guests came in from New Jersey and other places around the country for a beautiful breezy day in Key Largo. As the guests arrived I played songs from Bob Marley, Sublime Reggae Kings and Taylor Swift. As the bridal party walked down the path I played the Vitamin String Quartet version of Dancing on My Own by Robyn. As Nicole and her father walked down the path I played the Vitamin String Quartet version of Welcome to the Black Parade by My Chemical Romance. Nicole and Anthony wrote their vows and read them as a cool breeze came through. They spoke of meeting in medical school and finding time to build their relationship as they completed their studies. It could not be more perfect. After they were pronounced husband and wife they kissed and I played Still into You by Paramore.
After cocktail hour I introduced the bridal party to Down by Jay Sean as they each came in and did their own unique entrance. Next, I introduced for the very first time, Doctor and Doctor Nicole and Anthony Guillorn! For Nicole and Anthony's first dance I played a mix of Twin Flame and Forget Me Too by Machine Gun Kelly. At the end of the song the rest of the bridal party joined Nicole and Anthony. After that the guests went under the tent for a delicious dinner provided by the Conch House. Nicole's father Robert gave the blessing. Toasts were given by Maid of Honor Bridget and Best Man Mario. After dinner Nicole and Anthony cut their cake to Cake by the Ocean by DNCE.
After dinner Nicole danced with her father to Drops of Jupiter by Train and Anthony danced with his mother to Can She Have This Dance by Drew Baldridge. Next it was time to dance! I played music carefully selected by Nicole and Andrew including Black Eyed Peas, Justin Timberlake, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Queen, Panic at the Disco, Taylor Swift, and Fall Out Boy. Andrew put on a special outfit when I played My Chemical Romance - Welcome to the Black Parade. The party went until 11pm and the guests had a wonderful time. I ended the night with Panic at the Disco - I Write Sins not Tragedies.
I am so glad to have been part of Nicole and Andrew's special day and I wish them the best for the future!
