Wedding Reception at the Key Largo Lighthouse

Mollie and Jalen Hicks celebrated their wedding at the Key Largo Lighthouse in Key Largo, FL on 2/6/2024.  Approximately 40 close friends and family members arrived to the Lighthouse early that Tuesday afternoon and were directed to the beach-side ceremony overlooking the Gulf.  After the happy couple tied the knot, everyone was invited to the tiki bar for drinks and appetizers.  I played a mix of tropical tunes while everyone mingled and posed for pictures with Mollie and Jalen.  When it was time for the grand intros I lined up the 19 member bridal party.  Mollie chose Enter Sandman by Metallica as the intro song for the bridal party and for her and Jalen as well.  The first dance was to Dancing Away With My Heart by Dillon Carmichael then Mollie danced with her dad to God Bless The Boy by Cody Johnson and Jalen danced with his mom to Momma's Song by Cody Jinks.  All of the guests were then invited to the reception tent for the buffet style dinner.  The blessing of the meals was given by Jeff Moore (officiant), then during dinner the toasts were given by Jeren (BM) and Skyla (MOH).  The cake cutting was also held under the reception tent then Mollie surprised her grandma V'ora with the wedding bouquet...what a classy touch!  After dinner the dance floor opened up and they partied all night long.  I played a mix of top 40, country classics and oldies and I even took a few requests for some karaoke drinking songs that they all loved to sing.  The closing song for the evening was Friends In Low Places by Garth Brooks and that put a bow on a fabulous Tuesday night Keys wedding.
