Wedding Reception at the Key Largo Lighthouse

Erin and Joel Patlax celebrated their wedding at the Key Largo Lighthouse in Key Largo, FL on 7/27/2024.  This amazing wedding began with a beachside ceremony over-looking the Gulf.  Approximately 60 close friends and family members witnessed a perfect ceremony then they were all invited to the tiki bar for the cocktail hour.  Erin and Joel posed for pictures while everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  I played a mix of tropical tunes until it was time for the grand entrance.  Erin chose Danza Kuduro by Don Omar for the bridal party intros and The Way You Make Me Feel by M. Jackson for her and Joel's intro.  The first dance was to a mix of 3 songs that Erin and Joel had a choreographed dance for then Erin danced with her dad to My Little Girl by Tim McGraw and Joel danced with his mom to Recuerda Que Me Tienes A Mi by Gloria Trevi.  All of the guests found their seats at the reception tent and prepared for a buffet style dinner.  During dinner, the toasts were given by Kelsey and Brandy (MOH) and Victor (BM) then the happy couple cut their beautiful wedding cake.  All of the guests gathered at the beach for the sunset pictures then the dance floor opened up and the reception was in full swing.  I played a mix of top 40, latin favorites, classic dance hits and 90s hip-hop for all to enjoy.  There was no garter/bouquet toss but I did take plenty of requests for Mexican traditional favorites.  The closing song for the evening was Proud Corazon by Anthony Gonzalez and that put a bow on a great Saturday night Keys wedding.
