Lauren and Joey Hayes celebrated their wedding at the Key Largo Lighthouse in Key Largo, FL on 9/28/2024. The ceremony took place on the beach overlooking the Gulf. Approximately 40 close friends and family members witnessed the happy couple make it official with a big kiss, then they were all invited to the cocktail hour at the tiki bar. I played a mix of tropical tunes while everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. Lauren and Joey posed for pictures with immediate family members until it was time for the grand entrance. Lauren chose Celebration by Kool and the Gang for the parents intros, Turn Down For What by Lil Jon for the bridal party intros and Bring 'Em Out by T.I. for her and Joey's intro. The first danced was to Can't Help Falling In Love by E. Presley then Lauren danced with her dad to Your Song by Elton John and Joey danced with his mom to Fly Me To The Moon by Frank Sinatra. The buffet style dinner was ready for all to enjoy so all of the guests made their way to the reception tent. Travis gave the blessing of the meals and the dinner portion of the wedding was under way. The cake cutting also took place under the tent then everyone came out to the pier for sunset pics. This was a very laid-back reception and as I played some top 40, classic rock and yacht rock, most of the guests gravitated to the tiki bar for refreshments. The closing song for the evening was Friends In Low Places by Garth Brooks and that put a bow on a nice Saturday night Keys wedding.
Congrats to Lauren, Joey and the entire Hayes and King families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Lighthouse for always providing an excellent wedding experience.
